Check In
You will need to check in 3 hours prior to departure for international flights, 2 hours prior to departure for european flights and 90 minutes before any domestic mainland flight.

Express check in is available to passengers flying from terminal 1. The express kiosks are located throughout the airport and allow passengers to check in and print their own boarding card. To use the express check in you will need your passport, credit card or e-ticket number. Once you have followed the onscreen instructions you can print your own boarding card before dropping of any bags at the relevant bag drop desk (the drop of points are clearly signposted and easy to locate).

Facilities for terminal 3
Terminal 3 is the smallest terminal at Manchester Airport and as such has a smaller number of facilities than terminal 1 and 2.

Shopping is limited to 6 stores however both WHSmith and Boots have stores located in terminal 3 and sell most if not all of last minute travel essentials. Coasta, Delice de France and Bar 8 provide a wide range of snacks, light meals and drinks.

Bureaux de change are situated before and after passport control as well as in arrivals. Internet access is available in the seating areas only, access to the internet is pay as you go however you can browse the official airport site for free.

Two information desks are available one in the arrivals area the other in the departure lounge.
