Check In
You will need to check in 3 hours prior to departure for international flights, 2 hours prior to departure for european flights and 90 minutes before any domestic mainland flight.

Express check in is available to passengers flying from terminal 1. The express kiosks are located throughout the airport and allow passengers to check in and print their own boarding card. To use the express check in you will need your passport, credit card or e-ticket number. Once you have followed the onscreen instructions you can print your own boarding card before dropping of any bags at the relevant bag drop desk (the drop of points are clearly signposted and easy to locate).

Terminal 2 Manchester Airport handles over 8 million travellers a year and provides modern travellers with an extensive range of facilities and services.

The terminal has a wide range of places to eat providing everything from a simply snack to a more complete meal, coffee lovers will pleased that Starbucks have a store in the terminal. Shopping is very much part of terminal 2 with many high street names located within the terminal including Dorothy Perkins, La Senza and Hamleys.

Bureaux de Change are situated both before and after passport control as well as in arrivals. Toilets are available through out the terminal and are clearly signposted. Internet access is available in the cafes and seating areas, free access is limited to the airport official site.

The information desk is situated in arrivals however travellers can contact the information desk for free by using any on the blue phones located throughout the terminal.
