Check In
You will need to check in 3 hours prior to departure for international flights, 2 hours prior to departure for european flights and 90 minutes before any domestic mainland flight.

Express check in is available to passengers flying from terminal 1. The express kiosks are located throughout the airport and allow passengers to check in and print their own boarding card. To use the express check in you will need your passport, credit card or e-ticket number. Once you have followed the onscreen instructions you can print your own boarding card before dropping of any bags at the relevant bag drop desk (the drop of points are clearly signposted and easy to locate).

Facilities for terminal 1
Terminal 1 is well equipped with a wide range of facilities to meet the needs of the modern traveller.

Terminal 1 main information desk is situated in the arrivals lounge however there are a number of blue telephones located throughout all areas which connect you free of charge to the information desk.

The terminal has a total of 13 shops including high street stores such as Boots and Dixons. The Alpha shops complex sells a wide range of tax free goods. Food and drink outlets can be found through out the complex, the majority of which can be found after passport control.

Bureaux de Change exchange desks can be found in both the arrival and departure sections of terminal 1. Internet access is available in all seating areas, free access is limited to the airports own website, for full access to the internet you will need to set up an account with T-mobile charges start from 75p for 10 minutes.
